I spent this past weekend in a gorgeous Napa home with 10 other girls, and it was so hard to return to city life. Our Saturday was filled with visiting wineries (Round Pond, St. Supery, Cosentino , Monticello & Domaine Chandon) in a party bus.
{Although it was cloudy and grey, it was still one of those weekends that I come out feeling so thankful for living in the Bay Area}
Upon our return from the wine tastings, we had a potluck at the house. I made lasagna because it’s a great do ahead dish; all I had to do was slip it in the oven and dig in! I especially don’t trust myself in the kitchen after a few too many glasses of wine…
{Fresh basil mixed with the ricotta and mozzarella added a nice herby flavor, while turkey sausage eliminated extra grease}
