I have an upcoming “Night in Tuscany ” themed hired event soon, and I have been experimenting with the presentation of the different courses.
The starter is the quintessential Italian rustic Panzanella Salad:
{I decided for a diagonal presentation with balsamic glaze design and basil leaves}
You are actually supposed to use stale bread for this salad, so the bread retains its cubed shapes as it soaks up the olive oil, vinegar and juices from the tomatoes and roasted red peppers.
