Fool Dessert

Since this event mentioned here, my roommate and I have become much more neighborly with our neighbors- so much so, that we were invited over for dinner at a fellow resident’s beautifully remodeled casa.

I couldn’t resist to the opportunity to bring a dessert experiment, and made a Plum Fool:

 {I had fun with the presentation of these and served them in stemless wine glasses, layered with chunks of plums that I mixed with sugar and cinnamon for a slight kick}

Fools are classic British desserts consisting of pureed fruit folded into whipped cream, and I chose to use plums because I feel like I have been neglecting those little guys throughout the summer.


I will definitely be adding this to my “easy summer dessert” portfolio.
