Thumbprint Jam Cookies

These cookies hold a special place in my heart because my grandma used to make these around Christmas time. Nutty and tart flavors bring me back to the days sitting in her kitchen learning how to roll the dough in chopped walnuts and indent my thumb in each cookie.

 {My favorite jams to use are Raspberry and Apricot}

These will me the Morning After Treat for one of my hired events this weekend-- lots of cooking this weekend!
